Girls Self-defense Course
Our 6-Month College Prep Self-Defense Course is for young women preparing to leave home and step onto a college campus or into the workforce with confidence and capability.
Moving on to the next chapter of independence is an exciting new chapter—but it also comes with unfamiliar environments, shifting boundaries, and new social pressures.
Using the proven principles of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, we teach practical, leverage-based self-defense strategies that any young woman can use—regardless of size, strength, or athletic experience. This program focuses on awareness, boundary-setting, and the ability to stay calm, think clearly, and act decisively in uncomfortable or dangerous situations through the use of leverage, technique and timing.
What will she learn?
Real-World Self-Defense Skills
Simple, effective techniques that neutralize common threats young women may face when out and about. Because women are likely to be smaller or weaker than their attacker, we cannot rely on strength or speed. Jiu-jitsu teaches leverage-based solutions that work consistently when strength alone isn’t an option.
Situational Awareness & Prevention
How to recognize red flags, avoid risky situations, and trust intuitive warning signs before danger escalates. We use the Triangle of Victimization to help us identify risk.
Boundary-Setting & Verbal Defense
Confidence to speak up, set limits, and use her voice and body language to deter unwanted behavior. While many potential dangers can be avoided by using your voice and setting boundaries, most people will not set a verbal boundary they don't feel capable of enforcing physically. With her newfound skills she'll be confident enough to say "no" and ready to defend herself if they don't listen.
Mental Preparedness
Strategies to manage stress, stay composed under pressure, and respond with clarity instead of panic. We get comfortable with the uncomfortable in a safe space, so if an attack were to happen, it will not be the first time she's found herself on the bottom of the fight. Trained reflexes will kick in to help her survive.
Empowerment & Confidence
A supportive community where women build strength, resilience, and the self-assurance to face life feeling equipped—not anxious.
The Alarming Truth
Females ages 18-24 are 3X more likely than women in general to experience sexual assault.
On college campuses 26.4% of female students experience rape or sexual assault involving physical force, violence or incapacitation.
